Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal

As a busy mom I’m always looking for ways to make morning easier! Having this apple cinnamon baked oatmeal on hand is perfect for a quick and easy breakfast.

Mix all the dry ingredients in one bowl and the wet ingredients in another. Fold in apples. Bake in oven at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal

A simple baked oatmeal dish for breakfast or a kid approved snack!

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 1 3/4 Cup Milk
  • 1 3/4 Cup Apple Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar (Optional)
  • Gala Apples cored and diced.

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 375°F and lightly oil 9- by 13-inch baking dish. In large bowl, stir together oats, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, and baking powder.
  • In second large bowl, whisk eggs. Add milk, applesauce, maple syrup, and, vanilla extract and whisk until combined. Add dry ingredients to bowl and stir until just combined. 
  • Fold chopped apples into batter
  • Spread batter in pan in even layer. Bake for 45 minutes until the top is nice golden brown. Remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • I prefer serving this warm but can be served room temperature as well. Store in the fridge for 4-5 days.
